Population 23, Colona is a little town at the corner of Highway 550 and County Road 1.  It is home to ranchers, farmers, tradesmen, school teachers, writers and a variety of others who service the communities of Montrose, Ouray and San Miguel Counties. Colona boasts a historical museum, church, La Zona Colona Coffee, The Colona Stockyards and soon to be open County Line Roadhouse.
